Welcome to Paintings by Tatiana!

Tatiana Kolesnikova was born in 1977 in Siberia, Russia. At a very young age she showed a natural talent for drawing, immersing herself in studies of famous artists such as Caravaggio, Monet, Van Gogh, Dali and Rembrandt.

It was during this time she began her portrait work. Throughout high school her interest in art continued developing, winning her many awards at local art shows. Later, during her college years, she also pursued sculptural studies, allowing her to expand her talents even further.

Tatiana has spent almost her entire life learning about, and creating, fine art. Her schooling includes The Art School of Yekaterinburg, Russia, College of Fine Art in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and 3 years of studying History of Art in the Russian Art Academy.

Her paintings are held in various private collections in Russia, Italy, Germany, Denmark and the USA, and have been exhibited internationally in numerous shows winning many awards. From 2000 through 2002 Tatiana was a successful art teacher at the Ural Private School for Gifted Children.

Tatiana is passionate about painting and enjoys working with people and teaching fine art as well. She is known for her classic and stylish still life and portraits, as well as spontaneous, impressionist style landscapes. As you will see from her portfolio, her paintings are timeless.

Since 2002 Tatiana has lived in the United States with her husband Troy, and their two cats, Chat Noir and Murka. Originally she was offering fine art lessons in San Diego, California, but recently relocated to Longwood (Orlando), Florida. She enjoys painting locally, as well at her favorite travel destination, Southern France.
